7th Prince Anime Reincarnation: Trailer, Visual, Cast, Staff, Theme Song Artists Revealed
The formal online portal for the TV adaptation of the anime of Kenkyo na Circle’s light novel series titled “I was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability” recently unveiled a preview, concept art, fresh cast members, crew, and the performers of the opening theme song. The promo video features the opening theme song “Kyunrious” performed by Kaede Higuchi.
The recently added cast consists of:
Lynn in the role of Sylpha, the mentor of Lloyd
Akira Sekine as Tao, a Qi-using martial artist
Rie Takahashi as Ren, an assassin’s guild member skilled in poison use
Naoki Tozuka, known for Meiji Gekken: 1874, takes on the responsibilities of scriptwriting, managing the series dress, and art. Yuuichi Abe of Dimension High School fame is directing the action scenes. Mai Ono, who has worked on Yo-kai Watch: The Movie, is entrusted with color design. The task of directing the photography is assigned to Yuki Yano, while Ryō Tanaka, known for his work in Seitokai Yakuindomo, serves as the sound director at Ai Addiction.
Akane Kumada will provide the ending theme song titled “Happy no Himitsu” (The Secret of Happiness).
The anime is scheduled for a debut in April, with Crunchyroll planning to stream the same as it premieres in Japan.

- Fairouz Ai lending their voice to Grim
Jin Tamamura, notable for “The Girl in Twilight,” is heading the directing team at Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab. The music is being composed by R.O.N of STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION.
The light novel series was adapted into a manga by Yōsuke Kokuzawa and character designer Meru in 2020. It was made available on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app. As of November 9, Kodansha has published as many as 13 compiled volumes of the manga, and is set to release the 14th one on February 9.
Kodansha USA Publishing holds the rights to the manga and describes its plot as follow:
Prince Lloyd is not an original prince – he recalls his former life perfectly where he was a sort of sorcerer. When compelled to reincarnate, he decided to carry on with his scholarly engagement, no matter if he is a prince! However, the hurdles in his novel life include being a 10-year-old! What plans does this 7th prince and sorcerer have in store?!
About the original light novel series, it premiered on the Novelist website “Let’s Become Novelists” in October 2019. Kodansha started publishing these novels with illustrations by Meru in July 2020. The seventh volume arrived in stores in Japan on November 29.
